What we protect most
Reading an account's cashback history is of little use to anybody else. Changing where its cashback is paid is what matters, so that is where our protections sit:
- Changing payout details always needs your password again, even when you are already signed in. Somebody who picks up your unlocked phone cannot redirect your balance with a couple of taps.
- We email you whenever your payout details change, so a change you did not make does not go unnoticed.
- New or changed payout details are held for 24 hours before a withdrawal can be paid to them. That hold is what gives you time to act on the email.
- We only pay to an account in your own name.
What you can do
- Use a password you use nowhere else. If another site you use is ever breached, a reused password is the first thing tried on others.
- Turn on two-step verification in Account security. Signing in then also needs a six-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone, and so does changing your payout details. Keep the recovery codes we give you somewhere safe, in case you lose your phone.
- Change your password if anything looks wrong. Changing it signs you out on every other device.
If you get an email about a change you did not make
Change your password straight away in Account security, check your payout details, and contact us. The hold on new payout details means there is time to stop a withdrawal reaching somebody else.
Never share your password or codes
We never need your password or a verification code to help you, so do not give them to anyone, including someone who says they are from CashBharo. Always check that the address in your browser is www.cashbharo.com before you sign in.
