How tracking works
When you click through from CashBharo, the store's affiliate network records that the visit came from us, usually with a cookie in your browser. When you place an order, that record is what links the order back to us, and through us to your account. Anything that breaks the link between your click and your order can lose the cashback.
Before you shop
- Sign in to CashBharo first. Cashback has to be credited to somebody, so a click is only recorded against an account that is signed in.
- Click through from CashBharo right before you buy. If you click today and buy next week, the record may have expired, or another site may have replaced it.
- Consider emptying your cart first. Some stores only credit items added after the click, so starting with an empty cart is the safest choice.
While you shop
- Finish in the same visit, in the same browser, without wandering off to another site.
- Do not visit another coupon or cashback site after clicking through. The last site you came from usually gets the credit.
- Use coupon codes from CashBharo or from the store itself. Codes found on other coupon or cashback sites often break tracking.
- Pause ad blockers and strict privacy settings for the store. They can strip the tracking out of the link.
- Watch out for the app. On a phone, a store's link can open its app instead of the website. Tracking in apps varies by store, so if you can, finish in the browser that opened.
After you shop
Your order should show as pending usually within a few days. If nothing appears within seven days, raise a missing cashback claim with your order number and order date. Claims must be raised within 90 days of the order date.
We pass the claim to the network and tell you the outcome. The store decides whether a claim is paid, and some stores take several weeks to answer.
