Two kinds of store
Every store card on CashBharo says one of two things. Either it shows a cashback label, such as "Up to" a rate with the word cashback after it, or it says "Deals & coupons". The label tells you what the store pays through us before you tap anything.
A cashback label means the store allows cashback sites to share its commission with shoppers. "Deals & coupons" means it does not, so there is no cashback on that store, only offers. Amazon and Flipkart pay no cashback through CashBharo, so their cards say "Deals & coupons". Why some stores show no cashback.
What the buttons mean
- Shop & earn is on offers from cashback stores. Your visit is tracked to your account, so cashback can be credited once the store confirms the order.
- Shop now is on offers from deals-only stores. It takes you to the store with the offer, and there is nothing to track for you.
Why a cashback store asks you to join first
Cashback can only be credited to someone we know. If you are not signed in when you tap Shop on a cashback store, we ask you to join first, and then take you on to the store. If you already have an account, you go straight through.
A deals-only store does not ask you to join, because there is nothing to credit.
Before you tap Shop
- Read the rate as "up to". What you buy decides the rate within it, and the store page lists its terms, including anything that earns nothing.
- Try the calculator. Cashback stores that pay a percentage have one on their page: type what you plan to spend and it shows the most that order could earn.
- Start from CashBharo every time you shop. Tap through, then shop in the tab that opens. Why cashback sometimes does not track.
After you shop
Your visit appears on your Activity page, and any cashback shows as pending until the store confirms the order. What pending, confirmed and paid mean. To see which stores pay cashback, browse the stores.
